Sherlock Holmes themed pub
When most people think of Sherlock Holmes they think of Baker Street and the museum dedicated to the world’s most famous detective. Yet there is still more, conveniently centrally located: a traditional Sherlock themed pub – possibly the perfect place to go for some lunch or dinner afterwards, if you are a die-hard Sherlock fan.
Nestled in the side streets between Charing Cross Road and Embankment tube stations, you could almost miss this quirky drinking establishment, stocked full of Sherlock memorabilia, offering reasonably priced typical British dishes and a roof terrace to enjoy an ale or two in finer weather.
Furthermore, and what’s particularly special, is the secret Holmes and Watson study and sitting room recreated from the books which you can find full of old photos and objects relating to the characters and adaptations. A perfect accompaniment to complete the day out.
