Adult ball pit with LED dance floor
Sometimes, having the balls to do something crazy can pay off. Take Glowy McGlow, for example. They took 250k clear balls and shoved them onto a dancefloor with 10k LED lights, creating a giant adult ball pit. They didn’t stop there, though. They also designed a series of fire, ice and helium cocktails themed around the planet and brought in a DJ – we tried the ‘Mars’ which was a mixture of rum, aperol, chilli, lime and cinnamon…all of which was set on fire. They didn’t stop there either, and created a bottomless brunch menu so that after a good while of ‘doing your worst’ in the ball pit, you could replenish with cocktails, spaghetti meatballs and a game of a hide and seek. Obviously.
‘How do they clean all those balls?’ we hear you ask. Well, that’s all down to the ‘GobbleMuffin’ – a machine that is capable of heavy duty ball-disinfecting at around 18,000 balls an hour, so your mum will probably let you go without any concerns.
The good news is that the bar and pit can also be privately hired. That’s your birthday party sorted, then.
*Glowy McGlow comes from the folk that brought London ‘Ballie Ballerson’ – the city’s first and largest giant ball pit. With no signs of slowing down, tickets cost from £5.
