Secret pop-up cocktail party
Well, don’t just stand there. Come on in from the night to the Candelight Club, a roaming 1920s Speak Easy that pops up all over the city when you least expect it (unless, you know, you’ve checked the website).
A cosy den of flickering flames, fancy flappers and secret cocktails, we’re told that it’s one of the capital’s best and most authentic places for live jazz. Often there is cabaret, burlesque and live djs, too.
When something is prohibited, as alcohol was during the era in which the Candlelight Club is set, enjoying it in a clandestine location can be somewhat all the more decadent. So you’ll not only find cocktails, but excellent absinthes, cigars, and even a fine dining menu, should you care to partake.
A rip roaring evening for all, and a great excuse to swing, sway and dance the night away.
